Security Officer Job Responsibilities in Inverness

• Conduct routine patrols of the premises, both internally and externally
• Monitor and enforce security protocols and procedures
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies
• Investigate security breaches and report any suspicious activity
• Operate security systems, including CCTV and access control
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all individuals on the premises
• Cooperate with law enforcement and other emergency responders
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors
• Keep up-to-date on security trends and best practices

Security Officer Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Strong understanding of security principles and procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to withstand long periods of standing or walking

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Certified Security Officer (CSO) or related certification
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience in law enforcement or other security-related fields
