We're searching for a vigilant and skilled Security Officer to join our devoted team in Edinburgh. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our facilities, workers, and visitors.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities in Edinburgh :

• Conduct routine patrols to prevent and detect unauthorized activity on the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
• Respond promptly and effectively to handle situations as medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security processes and company rules to maintain compliance and uphold safety standards.
• Address visitors' and employees' questions and concerns regarding security matters.
• Create detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related actions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required to address security issues.
• Participate in training programs to enhance security skills and stay abreast of industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is recommended but not mandatory.
• Possession of a current security license or the ability to obtain one is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to remain calm under pressure while exhibiting great problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response methods is advantageous.
• A valid SIA license, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience are necessary.
