The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' assets and personnel, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security systems and responding to alarms and incidents
• Patrolling assigned areas and conducting regular security checks
• Enforcing security protocols and procedures
• Interacting with clients, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Investigating suspicious activities and reporting any concerns
• Maintaining detailed incident reports and providing evidence as required
• Performing access control and ID verification
• Conducting foot patrols and mobile surveillance
• Assisting with emergency situations and evacuation procedures
• Maintaining a keen eye for potential threats and suspicious behavior

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to observe and report
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends
• Previous experience in a similar role within a commercial or corporate setting
• Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using security equipment and technology
