Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and activity
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, equipment, and systems
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Conduct access control, including checking identification and granting or denying entry
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date security logs and documentation
• Report any incidents or suspicious activities to supervisors
• Provide customer service and assist with visitor management
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to maintain prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Valid UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent is highly desirable
• First Aid certification is an advantage
