Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks an experienced Security Officer for our Balsham, Cambridge location. The successful candidate will play a vital role in safeguarding our premises, personnel, and assets, ensuring a secure work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter crime and maintain order
• Monitor security cameras, access control systems, and other equipment to anticipate threats
• Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and other emergencies
• Document incidents, take statements, and assist law enforcement as necessary
• Control access to buildings, grounds, and other restricted areas
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including visitor management
• Perform basic fire prevention, evacuation, and first aid duties
• Maintain security logs and report suspicious activities or potential hazards
• Assist with crowd and traffic control as needed
• Liaise with other security personnel, management, and law enforcement agencies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in law enforcement, military security, or the private security industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and vigilance
• Proficient in security systems, equipment, and protocols
• Excellent physical condition and able to withstand demanding shifts and emergencies
• Valid UK driving license
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) License or equivalent certification desirable
• First aid certificate preferred
• Knowledge of fire prevention and evacuation procedures desirable
• Clean background check required
