Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Basildon, UK. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive security for our premises, staff, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor the site, both internally and externally, ensuring the safety and security of the property
• Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies promptly and effectively
• Screen visitors, contractors, and employees, maintaining accurate records and enforcing access control measures
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
• Prepare reports on security incidents, patrols, and any observations or investigations
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other external partners as necessary
• Maintain order and crowd control during events or special circumstances
• Keep abreast of industry best practices, security technologies, and legal requirements

Qualifications

• SIA License or equivalent security certification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar security role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• Clean driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred)
