EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our property in Beccles.

Overview

The Full-time Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the public. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills, as well as a strong understanding of security procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to deter and detect unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
• Conduct regular building inspections and maintain security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control)
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies and medical emergencies
• Enforce safety and security regulations, such as visitor management and restricted area access
• Conduct guest and vendor screening procedures
• Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees as needed
• Maintain and update security logs and records
• Collaborate with other members of the security team and law enforcement agencies

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to respond to physical confrontations
• Detail-oriented and proficient in using security equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
