Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd., a leading financial services provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including the building interior and exterior
• Conduct security checks at entrances and exits, including metal detector searches if necessary
• Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Maintain surveillance equipment and report any malfunctions
• Document and report security observations and incidents
• Assist with emergency and evacuation procedures
• Provide customer service and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a security officer role
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work long hours and in demanding conditions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
• Proficiency in security equipment and technology
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or ability to obtain one within the first month of employment
