Security Officer Job Responsibilities in Bolton 

• Monitor and control access to the premises, including conducting identity checks, screening visitors, and issuing passes
• Patrol the site perimeter and interior to detect and prevent security breaches
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• Report any incidents or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to security activities
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees
• Support other security personnel as needed

Security Officer Required Job Qualifications

• SIA-approved security license (preferable)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a corporate or similar environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and calm under pressure
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform extended periods of standing and walking
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security technologies
• Proficient in the use of radio communications
