We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Officer to join our team in Bury. As a Security Officer, you will be in charge of the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Security Officer Key Responsibilities in Bury:

• Conduct regular patrols to dissuade and identify unauthorized activity on the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to promptly respond to security threats.
• Respond to emergencies such medical events, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security processes and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
• Respond to visitor and staff inquiries and concerns.
• Create complete incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related actions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to address security incidents as needed.
• Participate in training programmer to improve your security skills and remain current on industry best practices.

Security Officer Job Requirements in Bury:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related disciplines is preferable, but not necessary.
• Possession of a current security licence or the capacity to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and great problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility in working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response methods is beneficial.
• Valid SIA licence, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of work experience.
