Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Cheveley, Newmarket CB8. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining security and safeguarding our premises, as well as ensuring the well-being of our staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to company buildings and facilities
• Conduct security checks, including identity verification and bag searches
• Patrol designated areas to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Respond to security incidents, such as alarms or emergencies
• Assist with crowd control during special events
• Conduct fire safety checks and enforce fire prevention measures
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed
• Maintain security equipment, such as cameras and access control systems
• Prepare and submit security reports
• Stay abreast of security protocols and best practices

Qualifications

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) License (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven experience as a Full-Time Security Officer (minimum of 2 years)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical fitness and ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Good attention to detail and observation skills
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
• Basic computer literacy

Additional Skills and Experience

• Experience in the use of CCTV and access control systems
• Background in law enforcement or military service
• First responder certification
• Conflict resolution training
