Overview:

This on-site security role requires an individual who is vigilant, observant, and committed to maintaining a secure and orderly environment. The Security Officer will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the well-being of our employees and the integrity of our premises.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance systems, inspect buildings and grounds, and conduct security patrols to identify potential threats
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, taking appropriate action
• Control and monitor access to the premises, verifying credentials, and issuing passes as necessary
• Conduct thorough ID and background checks on visitors and contractors
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all regulations
• Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or individuals
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Assist in investigations of security breaches or incidents
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all security-related activities
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Stay updated on security best practices and technologies

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and surveillance systems
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment
• Clean driving record
