Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at our Duxford, Cambridge location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activities
• Monitor and respond to security alarms and incidents
• Screen visitors and contractors, verifying their identities and purposes
• Control access to restricted areas and enforce security protocols
• Conduct vehicle inspections and searches as necessary
• Document and report all security-related incidents and activities
• Maintain a detailed log of all patrol activities and observations
• Follow all established security policies and procedures
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a security role in a similar environment
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform regular patrols
• Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent certification
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
