Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Fortrose, UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to buildings, gates, and other restricted areas
• Patrol designated areas to identify and report any security concerns
• Respond to alarms and other emergencies promptly and appropriately
• Conduct thorough inspections of property and equipment for signs of theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activity
• Enforce building and safety regulations, including evacuation procedures
• Interact with staff, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner
• Report all incidents and observations to designated personnel
• Keep detailed logs and incident reports
• Comply with all safety protocols and company policies
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related security role
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols
• Proficient in using security equipment, such as cameras, radios, and alarm systems
• Knowledge of first aid principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
