Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Gorey. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets within our business premises.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises, identifying and responding to potential threats
• Control access to the building, screening visitors and employees
• Conduct periodic inspections of the premises, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to security
• Investigate incidents and report suspicious activities to management
• Communicate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary
• Provide emergency assistance to employees and visitors in case of emergencies
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems
• Document security incidents and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a security officer in a commercial or industrial setting
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Physical fitness and ability to perform routine patrols and respond to emergencies
• Proficient in using security equipment and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean driving record
