EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Holwell, Hitchin. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, ensuring the well-being of staff and visitors, and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the designated premises and surrounding areas, ensuring security and safety
• Control access to the building and verify identification as required
• Conduct regular perimeter checks and inspect building equipment for any irregularities
• Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and professional manner
• Monitor and utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control
• Provide assistance to staff and visitors with security-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and reports
• Comply with all safety and security regulations and policies
• Work closely with law enforcement and other authorities as necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous duties
• Proficiency in security procedures and operating security equipment
• Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response protocols
• Clean criminal record and valid SIA license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
