EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Ipswich. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally, to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Monitor CCTV footage, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security breaches
• Enforce company security policies and regulations to prevent unauthorized access and theft
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and potential security risks
• Provide customer service assistance to visitors and staff
• Assist with fire prevention and emergency response procedures
• Maintain detailed security logs and documentation
• Keep up-to-date on industry best practices and security developments

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Experience with CCTV systems and access control technology preferred
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) certification or willingness to obtain
