EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer for its on-site operations in Lawshall, Bury Saint Edmunds, UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and protection of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Overview:

As a Full Time Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Enforcing building security and access control procedures
• Conducting routine patrols of the premises and perimeter
• Monitoring surveillance systems for suspicious activity
• Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms
• Providing customer service to visitors and staff
• Reporting and documenting security incidents
• Liaising with local law enforcement as necessary
• Maintaining security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough security inspections of the premises
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure the safety of authorized individuals
• Respond to alarms and investigate any suspicious activity promptly
• Report incidents, observe activity, and identify and apprehend intruders
• Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors, staff, and contractors
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for security-related incidents and activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a security officer role
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and best practices
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Physically fit and able to perform physical tasks, such as patrolling and responding to incidents
• UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license required or equivalent qualification
• Experience with CCTV surveillance systems is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
