Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility, interior and exterior
• Monitor security cameras and CCTV surveillance systems
• Enforce safety and security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
• Control access to the building and authorized areas
• Provide customer service and assist visitors with inquiries
• Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, such as alarm systems and access control devices

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a security officer position
• Physical Fitness Assessment (PSA) certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Proficient in security equipment and technology
• Experience in working with CCTV surveillance systems is highly desirable
