Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Manuden, Bishop's Stortford. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel, as well as enforcing company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain order
• Conduct thorough security checks and searches as required
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, breaches, and emergencies
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to access, security, and safety
• Maintain detailed records of security-related activities and incidents
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary
• Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees in a courteous and professional manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent physical fitness and alertness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using security equipment and technology
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is highly desirable
