Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas, ensuring adherence to security protocols
• Enforce building access policies and control entry/exit points
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action
• Conduct security checks of personnel, vehicles, and equipment
• Observe and report suspicious activities, potential hazards, and security breaches
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities and incidents
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency services as required
• Keep abreast of updates in security technologies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and alertness
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended periods of time
• Proficiency in using security equipment, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass security clearance (DBS check)
