The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities, while maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive working relationship with clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance equipment (e.g., CCTV cameras, access control systems) and patrol assigned areas to deter any threats
• Enforce security protocols, identify suspicious behavior, and respond appropriately to security incidents
• Conduct thorough inspections of the premises, vehicles, and equipment regularly
• Control access to restricted areas and verify authorized personnel and visitors
• Provide escort services and assist personnel as required
• Report security incidents, observations, and recommendations to clients and supervisors
• Keep an updated security log and maintain all records in accordance with company and client requirements
• Stay informed about the latest security trends and best practices
• Undergo regular training to enhance professional skills and knowledge
• Act as a role model and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
• Work cooperatively with clients, other security staff, and external authorities
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Security Officer in a commercial or residential setting
• Excellent observational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology (e.g., CCTV systems, access control)
• Ability to analyze and assess security risks and vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and security protocols
• Valid SIA license or equivalent certification preferred
• Physical fitness and agility for extended periods of standing, patrol, and physical intervention
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
