Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Northallerton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets
• Conduct access control and perform ID checks
• Respond to security incidents, including alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Report on security breaches or suspicious activity
• Maintain security equipment and logs
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Provide customer service and assist visitors
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and other security personnel

Qualifications:

• Security Industry Authority (SIA) License or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong observation and analytical abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks
• Good working knowledge of security systems and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean driving license (preferred)
