Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and assets
• Conduct routine security checks, including property inspections, access control, and equipment maintenance
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of all security-related activities
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees, ensuring their well-being and security
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and security technologies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years of experience in a security role
• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent physical condition and ability to perform extended periods of walking, standing, and working outdoors
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Valid First Aid certificate and SIA (Security Industry Authority) registration preferred
