Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our Potton site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property
• Monitor and control access to the site, including patrolling premises and checking identification
• Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Report suspicious activities, incidents, and breaches to management
• Provide support to other security personnel and collaborate with law enforcement as needed
• Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all company policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• SIA license or equivalent certification in security operations
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security role
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a demanding environment
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security equipment
