Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Conduct security checks, including access control, ID verification, and vehicle inspections
• Maintain order and control unruly or disruptive individuals
• Report suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential threats to management
• Document security incidents and provide written reports as needed
• Maintain security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms
• Conduct routine security assessments and make recommendations for improvements
• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with visitors and employees
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a security officer in a similar setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to withstand long periods of standing, walking, and monitoring
• Working knowledge of security equipment and systems
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to security
• First-aid and CPR certification is preferred
