Job Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Wantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, personnel, and assets, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of the facility and surrounding areas
• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, following established protocols
• Document and report all security-related activities, including incidents, observations, and concerns
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including bag checks, ID verification, and access control
• Operate security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices
• Provide support and assistance to law enforcement and emergency responders as required
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff, visitors, and contractors
• Stay abreast of security best practices and industry regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a security officer role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for suspicious activity
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a demanding environment
• Proficient in the use of security-related equipment and systems
• Knowledge of security regulations and protocols
• SIA license or equivalent certification preferred
