EarnFlex Ltd., a dynamic technology company in the heart of Colchester, seeks an experienced and dedicated Security Officer to enhance the safety and well-being of its premises and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security and protection of the office premises, staff, equipment, and assets
• Monitor CCTV footage and conduct regular patrols of designated areas
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control and visitor management
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergency situations, and evacuation protocols
• Conduct background checks and maintain visitor logs for authorized access
• Liaise with local authorities, police, and emergency services as necessary
• Provide a visible presence to deter crime and reassure staff
• Train and supervise other security staff (if applicable)
• Keep accurate records and prepare incident reports as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security officer role
• Excellent physical and mental health, with alertness and adaptability
• Proven ability to handle stressful and demanding situations effectively
• Strong attention to detail, observation, and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of security principles, best practices, and relevant regulations
• SIA license or equivalent security certification
• First Aid and Fire Marshal training preferred
