Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join its team in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's premises, staff, and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor the assigned area to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
• Control access to the premises and screen visitors
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, including alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Conduct security checks on vehicles and individuals entering and leaving the site
• Operate security systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all security-related activities
• Protect and safeguard company assets, including equipment, property, and confidential information
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with fire safety procedures
• Assist other staff members with security-related matters
• Report any security concerns or suspicious activity to management immediately

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Strong understanding of security principles, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent knowledge of security equipment and technology
• Physically fit and able to perform routine patrols and respond to emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid SIA license (preferable)
• Security training and certifications (e.g., first aid, fire safety) desirable
