Overview

EarnFlex Ltd is seeking a highly vigilant and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel in Wellington, Telford. This is an on-site, full-time position reporting to the Security Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras, access control systems, and other surveillance equipment
• Conduct security patrols on foot or by vehicle, inspecting the perimeter, building interiors, and sensitive areas
• Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and alarms
• Enforce security regulations and company policies, including access control
• Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and customers
• Conduct security checks, including bag searches and ID verification
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and any suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary

Qualifications

• SIA Licence or the ability to obtain one within the probationary period
• Strong physical fitness and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused during extended duty hours
• Experience in a similar security role or in law enforcement
• Knowledge of security best practices and emergency procedures
