Full time Security Officer in Waterford

Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd., a leading provider of financial services, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Waterford, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our office premises and personnel.

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the office building, including screening visitors and employees
• Conduct regular security patrols of the premises, both inside and out
• Respond to security incidents, including alarms, unauthorized entry, and medical emergencies
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security agencies as needed
• Maintain security records and prepare reports
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging security threats
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three or more years of experience as a Security Officer in a corporate or commercial environment
• Proven ability to handle security incidents calmly and effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical presence and fitness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in security equipment and technology
• Valid first aid and CPR certification
• Possess a Garda Vetting Certificate or willingness to obtain one
