Description Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Full Time Security Officer for its on-site security team at the Cogenhoe, Northampton location (Post Code: NN7 1NB). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and protection of company assets, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras, access control systems, and other surveillance equipment
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to detect any suspicious activities or breaches of security
- Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fire or medical incidents, and follow established emergency procedures
- Control and manage access to restricted areas
- Conduct background checks and screen visitors
- Maintain communication with local law enforcement and emergency services
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on security incidents, patrols, and investigations
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in an on-site setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in the use of security systems, equipment, and technologies
- Physical fitness to perform routine patrols and respond to emergencies
- Valid UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
