Full time Security Officer in Acharacle

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Acharacle, Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's assets, employees, and visitors from unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats.

 

Responsibilities

• Access Control:
  • Monitor and control access to facilities and restricted areas using various methods (e.g., gates, doors, surveillance cameras)
  • Check employee and visitor identification, conduct bag searches, and enforce access protocols
• Surveillance:
  • Regularly patrol the premises, conduct inspections, and monitor surveillance systems
  • Identify and report suspicious activities or individuals
• Response to Incidents:
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, such as alarms, emergencies, and threats
  • Provide initial assessment of incidents, secure the area, and coordinate with law enforcement as necessary
• Report Writing and Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all security-related events
• Customer Service:
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide information, directions, and assistance as required
• Other Duties:
  • Assist with fire prevention and evacuation procedures
  • Undergo regular security training and development programs

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours
• Experience with security equipment and technology
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• SIA license (or equivalent) preferred
