Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure buildings, grounds, and access points
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Control and manage access to restricted areas
• Observe and report suspicious activities or individuals
• Maintain and inspect security equipment (e.g., cameras, alarms)
• Prepare and maintain security reports and logs
• Assist with fire safety and emergency preparedness
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel
• Provide customer service and maintain positive relationships with occupants and visitors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security officer role
• SIA-licenced (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and alertness
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Experience in using security equipment and technology
• Knowledge of security best practices and regulations
• Ability to handle and resolve conflicts professionally
