Description:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Anstey, Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the designated premises.
Overview:
- Ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property
- Monitor and control access to the premises
- Deter and respond to security incidents
- Maintain and inspect security equipment and systems
- Patrol assigned areas and conduct regular surveillance
- Report security breaches and incidents promptly
Responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Conduct foot patrols and vehicle inspections
- Manage access control systems, including gate passes and key fobs
- Respond to security breaches, such as unauthorized entry or vandalism
- Investigate and document security incidents
- Train and supervise less experienced security personnel
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Comply with all company security policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience as a security officer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and observation abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to handle physical exertion
- Sound knowledge of security best practices and emergency response procedures
- Proficiency in operating security equipment and systems (CCTV, access control)
