Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a dedicated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Ashdon, Saffron Walden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting company assets, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors, and maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, and access points
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control, ID verification, and incident response
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify potential threats
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Control access to restricted areas and manage visitor logs
- Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed security reports and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on security best practices and industry standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority)
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
