Description
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a responsible and experienced Security Officer to join their team in Baildon, UK. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for safeguarding the company's property, assets, and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and respond to potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Control access to the building and identify visitors
- Operate security equipment and systems
- Report any suspicious activity or incidents to management
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in case of emergencies
- Maintain security records and logs
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a security role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Working knowledge of security equipment and procedures
- Knowledge of fire safety and first aid procedures
- Valid UK security license (SIA) or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with CCTV systems and access control systems
- First aid certification
Additional Details
- The position requires working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Shift work may be necessary
- The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- A clean driving record is preferred
- Excellent references are essential
