Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas, ensuring the security and safety of clients, employees, and property
- Control access to the premises, verifying credentials and escorting visitors as necessary
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities
- Conduct routine security checks of the premises, identifying potential hazards and security breaches
- Assist with crowd control and traffic management during events or peak periods
- Provide assistance to clients and employees as needed
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports of all security-related activities
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to security
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Stay up-to-date on security best practices and technologies
Qualifications
- SIA-licensed Security Officer (Level 2 or above)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar security role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, observation skills, and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to handle demanding situations
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security protocols
- Clean criminal record (DBS check required)
