Full-Time Security Officer Job Description
Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Bartlow, Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our premises and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and surveillance
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security systems
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Investigate security breaches and provide incident reports
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
- Inspect and maintain security equipment and systems
- Control access to sensitive areas and manage security clearances
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Maintain and update security records and documentation
- Report and escalate security concerns to management
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Security Officer (minimum of 3 years)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong physical presence and ability to handle emergencies
- Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
- Working knowledge of security policies and best practices
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or ability to obtain one
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
