Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Basildon, UK. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive security for our premises, staff, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor the site, both internally and externally, ensuring the safety and security of the property
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Screen visitors, contractors, and employees, maintaining accurate records and enforcing access control measures
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
- Prepare reports on security incidents, patrols, and any observations or investigations
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other external partners as necessary
- Maintain order and crowd control during events or special circumstances
- Keep abreast of industry best practices, security technologies, and legal requirements
Qualifications
- SIA License or equivalent security certification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar security role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
- Clean driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred)
