Job Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and vigilant Full-time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises in Batley, UK. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, observation, and response skills, along with a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of personnel and assets
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control devices, to detect and respond to potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to identify and mitigate security risks
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and other security-related incidents
- Maintain a detailed log of all security-related activities, including observations, incidents, and responses
- Assist with access control and visitor management, ensuring that only authorized individuals are granted entry
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and other emergency responders as necessary
- Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent observation and reporting abilities
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a demanding environment
- Proactive and vigilant approach to security
- Knowledge of security systems and procedures
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification (preferred)
