Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd., a leading financial services provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including the building interior and exterior
- Conduct security checks at entrances and exits, including metal detector searches if necessary
- Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents
- Enforce security policies and procedures
- Maintain surveillance equipment and report any malfunctions
- Document and report security observations and incidents
- Assist with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Provide customer service and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a security officer role
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work long hours and in demanding conditions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
- Proficiency in security equipment and technology
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or ability to obtain one within the first month of employment
