Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas, ensuring compliance with security measures
• Control access to the facility, verifying identities and issuing passes
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
• Conduct regular surveillance and inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Maintain and inspect security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control devices
• Document and report security-related activities and incidents
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to visitors and employees
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong observation and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform routine patrols
• Possess a valid UK Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or be in the process of obtaining one
