Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full-time Security Officer to safeguard our premises and ensure the well-being of our employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of security procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or vandalism
- Control access to designated areas and enforce security measures
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and professionally
- Record and report security incidents, including breaches and potential threats
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and vehicles for signs of damage or suspicious activity
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary
- Maintain order and discipline within the premises, including crowd control
- Provide customer service and address inquiries from employees and visitors
- Follow all established security protocols and policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen observation eye
- Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and investigation techniques
- Valid security license or ability to obtain one
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience in the use of CCTV and access control systems
- First aid and CPR certification
- Training in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
