Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Chelmsford, CM1 1LW. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and a commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Conduct security checks at entrances and exits
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and effectively
- Escort visitors and contractors as required
- Maintain a detailed log of security events and incidents
- Perform random searches and inspections to deter unauthorized activities
- Control access to restricted areas
- Assist with emergency evacuations and first aid
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer in a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology
- SIA-licensed (or in the process of obtaining)
- Clean driving record and a valid UK driver's license
