Job Overview:
EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Colchester. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol designated areas, both indoors and outdoors
- Conduct security checks and inspections, including access control and vehicle inspections
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Report suspicious activity, security breaches, and incidents to management
- Assist with crowd control, event security, and access management
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, such as access restrictions and parking regulations
- Maintain and inspect security equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms
- Provide customer service and assist visitors, employees, and contractors as needed
- Complete required documentation, reports, and incident logs
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in security management
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- SIA Security Guard License (Level 2 or higher)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar security role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Physical fitness to perform walking, standing, and light lifting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
