Overview
EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Colchester, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive security services to our clients, ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel and property.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots
- Respond to alarms and security breaches promptly and effectively
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Conduct access control, screening individuals and vehicles
- Protect company assets and confidential information
- Provide customer service and interact with the public courteously and professionally
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
- Prepare and maintain security reports and logs
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and security advancements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a Security Officer in a commercial or industrial setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work extended hours
- Proficient in the use of security equipment and systems
- Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or the willingness to obtain one
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
Workplace
- On-site at client locations in Colchester, UK
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
