Full time Security Officer in Cumbria

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Moor Row, Cumbria (CA24 3JZ). Reporting to the Security Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the company's assets, personnel, and property.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises
• Control access to restricted areas
• Investigate suspicious activities and report incidents
• Assist with crowd control during events
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees
• Maintain detailed incident reports
• Stay up-to-date on security best practices and technologies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a Security Officer
• Strong knowledge of security principles and practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Proficient in using security equipment (e.g., CCTV, access control systems)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform routine patrols
• Valid SIA license or willingness to obtain one
• Clean criminal record check

Additional Requirements

• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in the retail or hospitality industry is preferred
