Job Overview
EarnFlex Ltd., a reputable company based in Derby, seeks a responsible and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure premises, assets, and personnel
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Control access to restricted areas and monitor visitors
- Conduct security screenings and searches as necessary
- Report security concerns or suspicious activities to supervisors
- Liaise with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security equipment and technologies
- Complete regular security reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security officer in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures
- Proficient in using security equipment and technologies
