Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing incidents, and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Control access to restricted areas and monitor visitors
- Patrol the premises and conduct security inspections
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Enforce safety and security regulations and policies
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity
- Complete security reports and maintain detailed incident logs
- Liaise with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed
- Perform customer service duties such as assisting visitors and providing directions
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform security duties effectively
- Proven ability to handle a wide range of security incidents
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in operating security equipment and surveillance systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of security best practices and regulations
- SIA license or equivalent required
- First Aid and Emergency Response training preferred
